Emmerson Plc (LSE:EML) is a potash mining company focused on the development of its flagship Khemisset project in northern Morocco. 

Emmerson was established in March 2016 and was admitted to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange in February 2017 when it raised £913k through the placement of 30.4 million ordinary shares at a share price of 3 pence each. 

In August 2023, Emmerson had 1.027 billion shares in issue and the EML share price was 2.35 pence giving a market cap of £24 million.   

Overview of the company’s assets 

In October 2017, Emmerson announced its intention to acquire Moroccan Salts Limited (MSL) for a total consideration of £10 million through the issue of c. 333.3 million new shares at a share price of 3 pence each. 

EML’s principal activity is the development of the Khemisset potash mine . It is believed that the mine has the potential to be a “world class, low capital cost, high margin project”.
